Just an update!

Not a whole lot new to report! Zev got her report card not too long ago and she made the commendation list! We were super happy about that! She came a long way! She is growing like crazy!! I'm including a few pics of events over the last month or so! Enjoy!

Happy Halloween

Zevvi went Trick or Treating in Vienna and Belpre. She has a blast! Here are a few pics of her in her costume on both nights!

Fort Boreman

I was off today, so we decided to go for a drive. We drove out to Fort Boreman Park to look at the leaves changing color and to see the beautiful view. I love to take pics of Zevvi out there and with the leaves changing it was even better!! Here are a few pics!! If ya get the chance to go, then do so! It is Beautiful this time of year!!

Pumpkin Carving!!

Zev and Sky carved pumpkins tonight. They had fun doing it. They each picked out their own pumpkin lastnight and carved them tonight under my watchful eye. Kids and knives, a very scary combination. They loved having their pics taken while carving them and then they each took a couple pics of their pumpkin when they were done with a lit candle in it. I hope ya enjoy the pics!

Getting set for Halloween!!

Zevvi picked out her Halloween costume today. She chose to be a vampiress. Why she chose that, I am not exactly sure, but hey she looks pretty in anything she wears!! LOL She also chose a few things to decorate the outside of our apartment with. (spider web, door cover, and caution tape) She started decorating by herself and before long she was joined by my nephew Skyler. They had a blast and I let them do what they wanted and put it how they thought it should go. I am including a few pics!! I hope everyone enjoys!! Comment and let me know what ya think!!

Primping Princess

This is from Wednesday Oct. 10, 2007:

I received a 6 am wake up shake from my daughter this morning, oh how I love those!! All I hear is " mommy, will you straighten my hair please?" I am thinking " at 6 am Zevvi come on please!! LOL" So I get up out of bed and she is not dressed or anything, I was like Zev ya have to get dressed and finish getting ready before I straighten your hair. So of course that gives the straightening iron time to heat up. So she finally finished getting dressed and after our " dispute" over her shoe choice I finally straightened her hair. She was "blessed" lol with curly hair, not from me of course!! But I just thought I'd share the story of my 10 yr. old primping princess with everyone and include a couple pics with her hair straightened!!

My fist blog!!

Well everyone seems to be doing this blog thing on here so I just thought I would try it out!! I can't update on the progress of my baby really though cuz she is 10 years old. Well I can update just not as frequently lol. Zevvi is in the 5th grade this year at Belpre Middle School ( boy does that bring back memories!!) and doing pretty good in school, with a little nudge from mommy of course. We had a little trouble at the beginning of the year with turning in assignments but when she ended up with only a bed and dresser in her room, 8pm bedtime, and cell phone only during school hours she decided that moms way of thinking was better. So far she has gotten her TV back, ( DVD Player is still in lockdown ) she can use her cell phone for very short calls during the evening after home work is done and bedtime is 9pm with TV off at 10. Everything may go back to normal at report card time! Time will tell!! I have been trying to stress to her the importance of homework and good grades. She is only 10 though!! Wish me LUCK!! BTW I included a couple pics of Zevvi with this blog just to get this thing started!!
